Welcome to St. Louis Hillel
at Washington University!

Founded in 1946, St. Louis Hillel has fostered campus Jewish life for generations of students. Our mission is to be the catalyst for Jewish life among college students in St. Louis. We connect students with one another and with Jewish culture and traditions through service and social justice, Israel engagement, religious life, and social and leadership programs. Our beautiful building reopened in the Spring of 2014 after a complete renovation, providing a warm and inviting space to relax, study, hang out with friends, attend a program or celebrate Shabbat.

We hope to see you soon!

Prospective Students

St. Louis Hillel would like to welcome you to college life in St. Louis! We are here to provide you with Jewish resources that you may find helpful while you discover Jewish life on campus.

Our office hours are Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm and Friday, 9am-3pm.  We suggest making an appointment to visit one of our staff when you are here as our program staff are often on campus instead of in the office! Our building is located at 6300 Forsyth Blvd, St. Louis MO 63108.

Arrangements can also be made for you to stay overnight with a Jewish college student. Simply contact St. Louis Hillel at 314-935-9040 or hillel@stlouishillel.org and we will do our best to match you with someone who has some of the same interests, enjoys similar activities, or who closely matches your level of observance.  Please note that we need at least a week’s notice and cannot guarantee to find you someone due to our students’ busy schedules.  Please also make hotel reservations for your stay.

You are invited to join us for Shabbat services and dinner, and any other programs or activities we may be hosting while you are in town. Contact our office at 314-935-9040 or hillel@stlouishillel.org to find out more!

Let us know if we can do anything else to make your time on campus more enjoyable!
