Jewish Student Union
The Jewish Student Union (JSU) seeks to maximize opportunities for Jewish students to explore, celebrate and sanctify life in a Jewish way. JSU also strives to unify Jewish student groups and to coordinate their efforts by providing a forum for communication. JSU’s programming reflects the interests of students and consequently evolves as students’ interests change.

Students should be empowered to take responsibility for their Jewish identity, whether they want to participate in a community service project, express themselves artistically, attend a social event, engage in a form of Jewish learning, attend religious services or invent their own form of expression. Any student at the University may—and is encouraged to—participate in JSU sponsored programs.

JSU has an executive board of student leaders elected to their positions each spring. This is an excellent leadership development opportunity for students seeking to gain experience in a leadership role. See below for the current JSU board members or visit the JSU website at www.washujsu.com to learn more. You can also contact JSU advisor, Rayna Schaff at rayna@stlouishillel.org.
