Support our Students

St. Louis Hillel provides over 1,800 undergraduates and over 800 graduate students with a variety of Jewish opportunities from religious life to Israel programming, social justice initiatives or leadership development.  Our full array of offerings can be seen in our program brochure or on our website at www.stlouishillel.org.
St. Louis Hillel receives no funding from the Universities we serve.  We rely on the generous support of our parents, alumni and community.  As a parent, please take the time to consider supporting St. Louis Hillel so that we may continue to provide excellent Jewish programming on campus that will enable your student to develop their Jewish identity and make an enduring commitment to Jewish life.

What does Hillel offer my student?

St. Louis Hillel offers many different ways for students to become involved in Jewish life.  Here is just a taste of what we have to offer:
Community Development Fellowship
An initiative designed to enhance Jewish life on campus and build leadership within the community through the mentoring of freshmen by upper class students.
Social Justice Programming (Tzedek)
A variety of opportunities to promote tzedek from George Roffman Mitzvah Day to baking Challah for Hunger.
Israel Programming
Programs that relate to all things Israel whether political, cultural, travel or anything in between.
Alternative Break Trips
A chance to make a difference by going on a social justice trip during campus breaks.
Jewish Ritual & Learning
A full schedule of services and meals for High Holidays, Passover and other Jewish holidays and an array of learning classes and lectures.
Shabbat
Student led services and a communal kosher dinner every Friday night as well as Saturday morning services and Shabbat lunch.
St. Louis Community Connections
We have access to Rabbi’s of all denominations and community Jewish events.  Wash U is a part of the St. Louis eruv.  Local synagogues and the JCC allow students to participate or find a job.
